Firstly, here's the update on Tenchijin's ratings for ep 37 aired on Sunday night...the average rating was 21.6%, it risen again, yay!
Secondly...I've been hearing around various fansites that Crows Zero II will be airing in Singapore soon...here's a link to more details:

Today's update is good news all around!
Firstly, the ratings update, and it's great news! As expected, the ratings for Tenchijin rose again this week, ep 35 attracted average ratings of 19.9%! That's a massive rise of 5% from last week! Yay!
Secondly, there was apparently a new poll conducted asking voters to vote for celebs they think give them a "good feeling" through commercials, and Shun was voted #10 on the list

Ratings update + 'Tajomaru' movie poster

Firstly, the ratings report on Tenchijin's ratings as of 27th of august...I'm afraid it's bad news...unfortunately the ratings for ep 34 aired on the 23rd, reached its lowest rating yet; 14.9%
, that's a massive fall from last week's 20.3%!
I don't know what happened, but all the other dramas aired on that night did not have very good ratings either. And now that the much anticipated season 4 of the popular series Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji has just began airing with outstanding ratings, I'm afraid Tenchijin may not be able to hold its title of "No.1 rated drama for the season" for long
But look on the bright side, even if it does lose its title, at least it would still be no.2, since the drama's ratings overall are still exceptional, usually above 20% (higher than KB24J ep 2 & 3), and much higher than all the other dramas airing this season (apart from KB24J).
Let's hope the ratings will recover for next week's ep! Whenever the ratings for this drama fall, it tends to shoot back up again the following week, so it's likely next week will be betterlet's hope.

Shun sure looks fierce on the poster with that look! Can't wait for the movie! There's still less than a month till it comes out in Japan.

Ok, so this list came out back in February, and yet I only noticed it just a little while ago!

Korea's MNet yearly top 100 list of "flower boys" always creates much hype, and this year's results has been especially exciting for me, because our very own Shun-kun is on the list! The average rating for Tenchijin ep 33 (aired on the 16th, last night) is in, and it's still very good...20.3%, wasn't nearly as high as last week's outstanding rating, but at least it still passed 20%

Yay! The average rating for Tenchijin ep 32 aired last night was 24.8%! That's a massive rise of 5.2% from last week, and this rating is even higher than ep 1's rating! The last time the ratings for the drama ever passed 24% was for ep 6! Omedatou to the cast and crew!

Sorry for the slow updates lately...here's another quick ratings update as of Aug 3...
Tenchijin ep 31 aired last night attracted average rating of 19.6%, just slightly below the 20% mark...the last time the ratings dropped below 20 was for ep 18 with 16.7%. Hopefully next week will pass the 20% mark again.
As for ANN, syummy still has not uploaded ep 119 yet...but hopefully she will soon.

'Crows Zero II', 'Gokusen movie' & 'HYDF' box office earning reports!

Finally there's been some reports on the progress of the Crows Zero II movie earnings in the box office! We (well, at least I) haven't heard anything about the movie's progress ever since it came out in April! So it's good to finally see some news, and it's great news!
The movie is ranked #56 on the top 100 for the 'Most Grossed Movie in its Opening Weekend' of all-time in Japan list! It grossed about $5,793,542 (US dollars) just in its opening weekend alone! To date, the movie has earned $29,865,854!
While the Hana Yori Dango -Final- movie that was released last year, is in #24 earning $9,631,782 for its opening weekend alone, and so far has made $70,821,405!
And Gokusen: the movie which has just opened on the 11th this month, is in #75 place, earning $5,064,634 for its opening weekend, and $11,723,645 in total so far.
