Black Festa

It's funny how about a few weeks ago, there was hardly any news on Shun, and now suddenly there's so many updates on him that I'm having difficulty trying to keep up with them all!

I'm sure some of you remember I notified you guys a while ago about the special function held called 'Black Festa' with regards to the upcoming Crows Zero II movie? It turned out to be pictorials and a special advanced screening of the movie at TOHO Cinemas in Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, on the 22nd of Feb, and commenced at 2:22am (Tokyo time).

it's very short, but it looks great on him, and he bleached it again! kakkoi!with this new haircut, he appears very young, much younger than his age...he looks like he's back to his teenage yrs doesn't he?

They were at a promotional function at some sort for the upcoming Crows Zero II movie which will be released in April 11 in Japan.

if I'm correct, this particular ep marked the 99th ep of Shun's ANN! omedetou Shun-kun!i'f I'm right, the radio program started airing on January 3rd 2007, next wednesday's ep will mark the show's 100th ep! Ganbatte!

In other news, the ratings for ep 7 of Shun's taiga drama Tenchijin which aired last Sunday was 23.2%; currently the lowest rating for the drama...but nonetheless, it's still a very high rating and remains the highest-rating drama currently airing this season

Shun & MatsuJun!

Shun guested on the show of Sanma-san and Jun gave a message on the VTR. at first, Jun was asked about the unexpected true self of Shun. Jun said that Shun is not a very active person. when he's out he doesn't want to move (around)and when he's at home he doesn't want to change clothes.
the next question for Jun was to describe Shun on the set (during shooting). he said that Shun likes to goof around with the staff especially with the ladies which they thought of as "sexual harassment" but they know for a fact that it is a joke. Jun demonstrates how Shun acts in front of the make up artist doing the retouch of his hair...he sniffs his nose and smell their make up artist.
Jun on the last part said that he borrowed something from Shun and he's going to return it soon. he said that it was good.
On the studio, Shun was confused of what Jun was talking about the thing he borrowed. even Sanma-san was intrigued of what Jun borrowed saying that it was good.
But then, what Jun meant was the "plate" he borrowed from Shun. Shun explained that the other day he was arranging the furnitures in his house by himself and Jun came by to help him coz he thought it was hard for Shun to do it alone. the two of them stayed in Shun's place talking and when Jun went home Shun made some food for him to take home.

'Tenchijin' ratings update

I am excited to inform everyone that Shun's taiga drama Tenchijin (which is currently airing on NHK) is doing so well in the ratings, that among all 18 dramas currently airing through this season, it's currently the highest rated drama in Japan, and the only series to have attracted ratings of well above 20%! omedetou to all the casts & production crew!

Here's the current ratings tally for the drama:
Ep 1: 24.7%
Ep 2: 23.5% <---currently the lowest rating
Ep 3: 24.7%
Ep 4: 26.0% <---currently the highest rating
Ep 5: 24.2%
Ep 6: 24.4%

Hope the series will maintain its outstanding viewership throughout the rest of its airing period.
Remember that this drama will air all throughout the year and end in December, so there's still a long way to go! But I'm confident 'Tenchijin' will keep up! Ganbatte!
