Here’s a short translation from an old chinese article (dated last year I think):
Basically it says lately he’s been getting jobs non-stop doing movies, dramas and commercials. In a short time span he’s made over 10,000,000 yen (roughly $92,000 US) but his lifestyle has not changed. His daily food and meals are supplied by the drama company.
Zhong Jing Sports paper indicated currently he’s filming Binbo Danshi, he runs to work to save car expense. He eats his 3 meals on the set and even packs the left overs on the set, home.
Clothing wise, he asked the workers who are going to destroy the clothes after the drama to leave it for him. According to reports, his dream is to establish a professional theatre school. His current goal is to save money. So even if people call him stingy he doesn’t care.

I don’t think he’s “stingy” at all, and I really can’t see how anyone can call him that, he’s just very money-cautious, and I think we all should be…then again, I hear that ppl in japan love to spend a lot of money, so I guess maybe some of those big money-spending ppl would see him that way.
His dream is to establish a professional theatre school? That’s incredible! He’s such a hardworker and he sure sounds like the type who chases after his dreams, with his sense of devotion, passion & hardworking nature, I’m sure his dream will eventually come true, Ganbatte!

Shun in 'Tenchijin'!

here's a pic of Shun from his upcoming taiga drama 'Tenchijin' which is scheduled to be released next year. In the drama, he reprises his role as 'Ishita Mitsunari' from the the 1996 taiga drama 'Hideyoshi'.
