Shun joins the cast of 'Tenchijin'!

More "Tenchijin" cast members announced [8/9/08]:
NHK has revealed a few more cast members for its 2009 taiga drama, "Tenchijin." Among the roles named were Shun Oguri (as Ishida Mitsunari), Kyoko Fukada (as Yodo-Dono), Yu Shirota (as Sanada Yukimura), and Yusuke Kamiji (as Kobayakawa Hideaki). The previous cast announcement can be found here.
The show, which stars Satoshi Tsumabuki, starts in January.

I also learned that Shun had actually played the same character already in the 1996 taiga drama titled 'Hideyoshi', but he was really young at the time...

I wonder if it's necessary to watch 'Hideyoshi' first in order to understand the story of 'Tenchijin'...it's very possible both dramas are related.

Shun won 'best actor' at this year's MTV Student Voice awards! This is the second time in a row that he has won the same award!

Shun-kun only has a small cameo role in the film, he appears at about 2:21...I'm still unsure about whether or not to watch it...it looks quite interesting, but Shun has such a small role in it.

Finally Shun's official site has a new layout! This time featuring Sano Izumi-kun from 'Hanazakari no Kimitachi e'!

Although I'm going to miss the old layout with the ever so charming Prince Hanazawa Rui from 'Hana Yori Dango'! But I like this new one too! Either he smiles or not, Shun looks hot no matter what! =D

Hi! My first entry! Well, I guess I should say hello & welcome to my blog!
Here, I'll be posting everything & anything about one of my favorite idols; the talented Oguri Shun! Including his latest news, images, clips & other infos!
So all fans of Shun are welcome here & share your thoughts!
Firstly, I don't know why I decided to start a Shun blog, since there's many other blogs out there of him...but right now, it's just past 5:30am in the morning here in Australia! I couldn't sleep at all last night so I practically stayed up all night, bored, I suddenly had the notion of creating a blog...a bit unusual because I'm not really a blog person, normally I can't be bothered to post anything, and when I do manage to post a few entries, the blog just gets deleted eventually.
But since this blog will be purely on Shun; 1 of my fav stars of all-time, perhaps I'll have the urge to maintain it, unlike how I did with all my other blogs!
But don't trust me to update regularly as I'm a very busy person! But I will try my best!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay here & do check back regularly for updates!
