Here's a overview of what the story is about:
One year after the suicide of C-list model Miki, five of her fans come together for a commemorative meeting: fan club leader Iemoto, Oda Yuji, Snake, Yasuo, and Ichigo Musume.
Sitting down together for the first time, they reminisce about their idol, wondering how someone so bright and beautiful could have possibly taken her own life. It just doesn't make sense.
That's when they reach a revelation - she must have been murdered! The five heatedly discuss her death, expressing their suspicions and weighing the many clues and possibilities.
The more they talk, the more the case takes shape in their minds, and the closer they come to the truth.

'Tokyo DOGS' preview

I have uploaded a 30-secs long preview of Shun's upcoming drama with Mizushima Hiro Tokyo DOGS!
the drama is scheduled to premier on October 19th on Fuji TV, it will air every Mondays at 9pm! I'm so anticipating this drama! It seems so interesting! I'm really happy to see these 2 guys working together again since 'Hanazakari no Kimitachi e'!
For those who are in Japan, make sure you watch it and support Shun & the cast & crew!

'Crows Zero II' streams!

As you all know, the hugely popular Crows Zero II movie came out about 5 months ago, the original dvd is scheduled for October 2 release in Japan, but there's no need for you to wait, you can stream or download the movie (with english subs) now!

take my word for it, this sequel is just as awesome as the first movie! And Shun was even more kakkoi than in the 1st!
I love both movies so much, but I have to admit that I love this sequel a little bit more than the 1st movie! Probably because the first movie was mainly just introducing the main characters, and focusing on Genji trying to take over Suzuran high school...so there wasn't very much going on.
But in this sequel, not only does Genji have to try and mend the division in Suzuran high, he is still having troubles bringing everyone together, but he also has to deal with a rival school Housen Gakuen. The whole rivalry between both schools dates back for years, and because of a serious dilemma Genji got himself and Suzuran into by 'unconsciously' breaking the 2-years old "truce" between the schools, now both schools are at war again. There's also a past story behind the whole severity of the war between the 2 schools. So there's much more going on in this sequel, and it's more exciting! Therefore, I felt the sequel is better and more interesting than the 1st! So it's definitely a MUST watch! Especially if you loved the 1st movie!
CZII aside...about the Tenchijin ratings, unfortunately there's still no updates on it, so we'll probably have to wait till tomorrow to find out what the rating was for ep 38.

Shun has a new cm, which he has filmed with 3 other stars; Eita, Miura Haruma, and Tsumabuki Satoshi.
It's a cm for beauty brand Shiseido to promote their new men's hair product range 'Uno'. The cm was shot in England, and has a "British feel" to it.

Shun's VTR message for Yankumi

As I have reported before, there was a special aired on July 11th 2009 to promote the Gokusen movie and to commemorate 7 years of the live action...unfortunately, Shun, along with most of the casts from season 1 & 2 did not attend...however, 4 of the 5 main 3-D students from both seasons all left VTR messages for Nakama Yukie aka "Yankumi". The casts who left messages included SHUN, Matsujun, Ishigaki Yuma & Narimiya Hiroki from season 1. And Hayami Mokomichi, Teppei Koike, Koide Keisuke & Akanishi Jin from season 2.
I've just uploaded the clip a moment ago...I wasn't able to sub it though, because I have so many videos to sub...but they were basically just expressing their gratitude towards Yankumi:

I found this very interesting clip, it's a cartoonized Japanese TV show featuring a bit of cartoon Shun!
He was drawn in the form of his character Takiya Genji in Crows Zero! But I have to say though, it doesn't look anything like Shun! But it's still good, I had a bit of a good laugh watching this!

the clip is in Japanese, and is just over 3 minutes long...a picture of Shun/Genji (in anime form) appeared briefly on the screen at about 3:14, they were discussing about him.
I could understand a bit of it...but not very much...I'm hoping someone can translate the whole clip.

Shun in 'Caligula'

here's a extract from Shun's Caligula stageplay from last year, it's the last bit from the play...

Just from little previews and that extract, you can see the play was very intense and dramatic, it's no wonder Shun was so focused on this play at the time, he spent so much time and effort into the practices and rehearsals, and was very nervous about it. But he was able to pull it off with flying colors! The casts and play had a standing ovation at the end.
I wish I could watch the entire play, but don't know where to look...you can only find little extracts from it.

Gokusen clip

Just found this promotional clip for the upcoming Gokusen movie..it's a 9:16 long media coverage on the appearance of the 6 returning former students of Yankumi from seasons 1 & 2; SHUN, Ishigaki Yuma, Narimiya Hiroki, Hayami Mokomichi, Teppei Koike & Koide Keisuke. It shows footages of these guys on the set as well as some clips from the trailer.
Shun appears first, and he seems to have more coverage than the other 5 guys...there were not much on the 3 guys from season 2...while Shun, Hiroki & Yuma from season 1 seems to have more appearance in the clip:

I think Shun, Hiroki & Yuma's characters also meet Yankumi at the same place around the same time in the movie, because their filming scenes were at the same place, the 3 of them also filmed their scenes on the same day...one time during the clip when they showed Yuma at the set, you can see Hiroki was there too...and possibly Shun too.
There were also some coverage of Kamenashi Kazuya's (KAT-TUN) appearance, as well as a short interview with Nakama Yukie.
I'm so looking forward to this movie (mainly because of Yankumi, Kame and the season 1 guys)!
But despite the fact that this movie opens in theaters across Japan in about 9 days time, I can only wait for the dvd to come out, which I'm guessing I'll still need to wait a while longer for.
